Nominate a deserving child to win a cuddly GoGoDragon!
George II is one of the limited edition soft toy clan of dragons being created to promote the GoGoDragons! charity art trail that will take to the city’s streets next summer. The trail, organised by children’s charity Break and Wild in Art, will see 80 adult-sized dragon sculptures decorate the city. Outside the EDP and Evening News office will be George, a dragon inspired by England’s patron saint and designed by reader John Checketts and artist Martin Wall, meanwhile schools are creating baby dragons for a second citywide trail. GoGoDragons! merchandise is being created to celebrate the trail, and we are launching a competition to give one of the first cuddly GoGoDragons! to an extra special child.
EDP and Evening News editor Nigel Pickover said: “The GoGoDragons! are set to be Norwich’s stars of 2015 and we want to give our cuddly dragon, George II, to a deserving child who is an absolute star. We would like our readers to nominate inspiring youngsters and tell us why they would give George II a great new home.”
