Sprowston Community High School

Dragon name: Eric

Dragon design: “Eric” has been created by year 7 students from Sprowston High.  He is inspired by the work of famous children’s author and illustrator Eric Carle.  He is a sibling to the Garrick Green dragon.  Year 7 students spent their first term looking at a variety of Eastern and Western dragons.  They created a range of work which resulted in design ideas for Eric.

Year 11 vocational students helped at the beginning with painting then year 7 students created skin texture with sponging and stencils and larger scales from hand decorated paper.  The students are very proud to be taking part.
