Hillside Avenue Primary & Nursery School

Dragon name:  Hillie, the Hillside Dragon.

Dragon design:  The school based a whole-class dragon enquiry project after finding a dragon with a burnt book in the school library. He was at first christened ‘Burnie’ as the children thought he burned everything because he was lonely and unhappy.  With all classes from Nursery to Year 6 welcoming him into the school community, he has flourished and is now renamed ‘Hillie’, proud and happy to wear the Hillside school uniform!  In return he has given everyone one of his scales to decorate with their faces to show how many friends he has made.

“Hillie” will be residing in Norfolk Yarn, 11 Pottergate from 4th July – 5th September then he will go back to live happily ever after at Hillside Avenue School.

Break Charity would like to thank Norfolk Yarn for donating a prize to use at a future fundraising event.  They are also holding a collecting tin for Break – ideal for any spare change when enjoying the dragon trail!  Many thanks!

Break Charity are also extremely grateful to everybody at Hillside Avenue School who saved coins in the special GoGoDragons! collecting boxes.  They have raised an amazing £221.06.  This will all go towards helping to change young lives in Norfolk and East Anglia
