Dragon name: Tomoko
Dragon design: Filby Primary School is part of a small community working together to foster confident and caring children. The children were challenged to work with their parents to design a dragon that symbolises friendship – a core ethos in our school. Together with the staff in school, the children then chose how they were going to decorate their dragon. Every child added their mark to the dragon and is thus a key part of the design and will play a part in it’s completion. We have called our dragon Tomoko meaning friendly child.
Break Charity would like to say thank you to everybody at Filby School who saved coins in the special GoGoDragons! collecting boxes. They have raised £13.36 which will go towards helping to change young lives in Norfolk.
“Tomoko” was on display in The Giggly Goat 20 Lower Goat Lane, Norwich where he was admired by many visitors to the Norwich Lanes. He now lives at Filby Primary School.
Break Charity is very grateful to the Giggly Goat for donating a prize for us to use at a fundraising event and for holding a collecting tin for Break.
