Roberta Wood - Clang

Introducing Clang sponsored by NPS Group, designed and painted by Roberta Wood and the Children from Break and the Base Community Trust.

Roberta Wood is a Norwich based Illustrator and Maker. A myriad of strange and wonderful critters are constantly scampering around inside her head – sometimes they escape onto paper, walls, or, in this case, a dragon who goes by the name of “Clang”. As a self-employed artist Roberta has received many public and private commissions ranging from small logo designs to large murals. She also sells her illustrations on a range of products and clothing under the pseudonym Stripey Ralph.

Roberta is also an experienced tutor and Community Arts Practitioner. Clang was painted in the foyer of youth centre The base, alongside dragon themed arts and crafts activities with young people from Fusion, a youth group for young people with mild-moderate learning difficulties.
