Mik Richardson – Soup Dragon
Introducing Soup Dragon sponsored by Intu Chapelfield, designed and painted by Mik Richardson.
Mik Richardson is an artist based in Norfolk. He runs his own mural and spray art business, which he set up in 2006 after completing 27 years in the RAF. He has produced over 400 murals / art projects for businesses, schools, visitor’s centres etc, including various other Wild in Art trails (8 to date). He also works a lot with council and communities especially with young people.
This design started off as an idea from the classic 70s children’s show “The Clangers”. It then evolved into a play on words of Andy Warhol’s famous Pop Art, depicting his Campbell’s Soup Tin design but replacing the name and types of soup with Dragon references.
