Baby GoGoDragons! fly into classrooms across Norfolk
Some rather unusual pupils are flying into classrooms across Norfolk as the GoGoDragons! schools project gathers pace.
More than 100 schools, youth organisations and community groups are involved in decorating baby dragons that will feature in a schools trail through Norwich which will run alongside the GoGoDragons! trail of about 80 adult dragon sculptures.
The project is following the footsteps of the GoGoGorillas! Schools Project, and Joanna Storey, from the project, said there had been a great response.
She said: “We have double the amount of baby dragons compared to the baby gorillas. Half of them have already been picked up by the schools and the rest are waiting to be collected.
“Everyone had so much fun with the GoGoGorrilas! schools project that they wanted to get involved with the dragons.
“It’s a wonderful tool to help with learning.”
The GoGoDragons! Schools Project has been organised by The Forum, working with Break and Norwich HEART (Heritage, Economic and Regeneration Trust).
Students from City College Norwich will also be photographing the baby dragons for the GoGoDragons! Schools Project web page.
