Almary Green reveal Biggles at The Forum Norwich 25th September 14

The colourful sculpture is one of 80 that will be dotted around Norwich next summer for GoGoDragons! which aims to raise money for children’s charity Break. The fundraiser follows on from last year’s GoGoGorillas! event which was a huge success.

Biggles – who is sponsored by Almary Green and designed by artist Mik Richardson – enjoyed his first public appearance today when he was the star attraction at a GoGoDragons! afternoon at the Forum in Norwich. The event gave people a chance to find out more about the project which is being organised by Break and Wild in Art, and it is being followed by a GoGoDragons! sponsors reception this evening.

Joining Biggles on display were the first two decorated GoGoDragons! – Birdie and Cavell – along with a selection of the unpainted fiery beasts that will be transformed into works of art in the coming months.

In the 2015 trail there will be 80 adult dragons, and until November 1 this year Break is accepting design ideas from artists which will be put forward to sponsors for consideration. Artists wanting more information about submitting designs should email
