Ahead of the blaze of dragons, Norwich Twilight Dragon goes to fly the flag for this Norwich art trail
The rather unusual passenger boarded the 9.30am Norwich to London service today and is one of the GoGoDragons! clan who later this month will form a charity art trail through Norwich.
There will be 84 dragon sculptures on the streets of Norwich during the outdoor art event, and for the next two weeks Norwich Twilight will be on display at London Liverpool Street to promote the trail and greet commuters, visitors and tourists.
Norwich Twilight, who has been designed by artist Phil Daniels and sponsored by Norwich Business Improvement District (BID), depicts scenes of Norwich, and after his London adventure he will take his place on the Norwich trail which starts on June 21.
The event, which has been organised by children’s charity Break and Wild in Art, will run throughout the summer until September 5, and GoGoDragons! project manager Martin Green said he had been overwhelmed by the amazing dragons that have been created by artists.
